As a Fee-Only firm, our fees are straightforward and easy to understand. Fees are either billed at a flat rate for bundled services described below or at an hourly rate of $150 based on time spent for special projects. Prices are quoted up front with no surprises.
Initial Meeting: – Price – Free: Our initial meeting will help us determine how we can meet your needs. We will learn a little bit about you, your current financial situation, goals, concerns and values. We will understand your expectations and what you are looking for in a financial advisor. We will also quote you a fixed price for our services.
Financial Assessment: Price - $750: Usually for individuals or families with less complex financial situations. Mostly appropriate for clients in their 20s and 30’s. Our goal is to find any potential red flags that may stop you from reaching your goals. We’ll gather information and discuss the following:
- Budgeting / Cash Flow / Net Worth
- Emergency Fund Review
- Debt Reduction planning
- Basic Investment Portfolio Review
- Basic Retirement Plan
- Insurance review
- Tax return review
- Education review
A written financial assessment will be provided.
401(k) / 403(b) / IRA Check Up: Price $300 to $500 Advice for individuals or families who are currently still in their working years and who participate in employer sponsored retirement plans or have a combination of employer plans and IRA’s. We will review all your accounts to determine the optimal strategy for your portfolio through diversification, minimizing fund expenses and taxes. Optimal strategies are determined based on time horizon and risk tolerance.
Comprehensive Financial Plan: Price $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the complexity of the plan. Comprehensive Plans are typically recommended for individuals and families over 40 who are approaching retirement or are in their retirement years. It is imperative to have a comprehensive financial plan in place as you approach retirement as political, economic and tax environments are in constant flux. Comprehensive financial planning focuses on a broad range of individual needs and goals and how they shape your decisions on retirement, income taxes, investing, education, insurance and estate planning. The comprehensive planning process includes the following:

Wealth Management: Price - .25% to 1% of the portfolio balance depending portfolio size. While we offer specific investment advice in the services discussed above. Some of our client’s feel that managing their investments on a day to day basis is too time consuming or outside their area of expertise. Our wealth management team will ensure that your investment goals and objectives are carried out by experienced and certified professionals. United Financial Planning Group supports a diversified portfolio approach with periodic rebalancing as opposed to an active trading strategy, the latter of which requires calculated market timing, individual stock selection and bargain hunting. We utilize proprietary internal targets and professional judgment to determine the optimal time to rebalance your portfolio.
